Burns Unveils New Pet Rescue Initiative

Burns Pet Nutrition has launched the Burns Pet Rescue initiative, a new support system that helps rescue pets and their new owners, as well as rescue centers and shelters.

Burns will be offering a “special” Burns Package for new pet owners, containing some of the necessities new owners will need.

He said customers will receive 2kg of Burns Healthy Foods, a measuring cup as well as access to “best tips”, video content and training sessions from the Burns nutritionist team.

Additionally, pet owners will receive a voucher that will give them cash back when they shop online at the Burns website. The brand will also send a food donation to the center where each owner adopted their pet.

According to the brand, it launched the initiative following a growing increase in the number of abandoned puppies, following the huge increase in dog ownership over the past two years.

Burns said he will also expand his support for independent pet stores, with the launch of an all-new voucher program over the summer.
