Founder’s Day Pet Rescue Adopt-a-Thon

Each year, Nexstar’s 199 television stations donate their time and sometimes their labor to an organization to help better serve our respective communities. Nexstar Nation news stations will perform community service projects at this annual event. This year WMBB has partnered with Bay County Animal Control and Operation Spay Bay and we need your help!

How to get involved:

You can get involved in several ways.

  1. Purchase items for either organization
  2. Make a tax-exempt monetary contribution to Operation Spay Bay
  3. Adopt a Furry Friend from Bay County Animal Control

Mission for this year:

One of our main goals this year is to clean up the Bay County Animal Shelter and find those forever pets. That’s why we’re hosting an Adopt-A-Thon! We will have activities for the kids, pets to meet, and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We look forward to seeing you June 17, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bay County Animal Control 6401 Bay Line Dr. With your help, we can give these otherwise homeless animals a place to feel loved and safe. Of course, you can’t forget that you’ll get a new new best friend to love!

Friday, June 1710 a.m. – 4 p.m.
