JPAWS, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BLUETAILS PET RESCUE AND
THE DREW PET FOUNDATION HOSTS THE FIRST PAWS AT THE PARK EVENT

JEFFERSON, THE – In partnership with Bluetails Pet Rescue and The Drew Pet Foundation, Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS) will host Paws in the Parc on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Family Park (6101 Leo Kerner Pkwy., Marrero, LA 70072) from 10:00 a.m. at 4:00 p.m.

This mega adoption event is free for the public and all four-legged friends! Attendees can expect food trucks, live music, an animal parade, animal photos, a costume contest and a vendor’s market. “We are thrilled to partner with Bluetails Pet Rescue and the Drew Pet Foundation to bring the first mega adoption event to Jefferson Parish,” said Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services Director Michelle Brignac. “The best thing about Paws in the Parc is that it’s for an important cause. We encourage everyone to come and enjoy this event, which will feature dozens of area rescues and shelters with animals looking for their forever homes.
