The South Carolina Bar recognizes the law firm Chappell, Smith and Arden (CSA) for #RaisingtheBar as it works to raise funds and awareness for Homeward Bound Pet Rescue. The firm will organize a 4k on 4 legs on April 30.

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of pet rescue experience. Homeward Bound volunteers use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of all pets. The no-kill pet rescue group in the Midlands region relies on donations to provide medical care and food for rescued animals.

The 4-legged 4k, also sponsored by B106.7, will take place on April 30 at 2801 Devine Street. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race will begin at 8 a.m. Dogs registered for adoption will be brought to the event for anyone wishing to adopt a pet forever.

ASC attorney Graham Newman, a self-proclaimed animal lover who will be participating with his dog, Neptune, said: “Chappell, Smith and Arden are thrilled to once again welcome the 4-legged 4K supporting Homeward Bound Pet Rescue. . All dogs are invited and their humans are too!

To participate in the race, register on the 4-Legged 4k website at 4legged4kcsa.com. Those who can’t run can volunteer or donate to Homeward Bound Pet Rescue at homewardboundre s – cuesc.com/donate.
