Metro Wines hosts fundraiser for Pet Rescue

On Saturday, August 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Metro Wines will donate 10% of every bottle of wine sold to Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville to celebrate small wins and help pave the way for more! In addition, the owners will personally match the store’s donation to continue their work of refuge and hospitality.

Metro Wines is proud to announce one of these small wins that we will feature in an article in the October edition of Wine lover on newsstands September 7.

For the August 28 event, Metro Wines will present its Wine of the Summer event “on the taste” and “on the house”. Join us as we celebrate our code: one for all and all for one!

How the Domino Wine Shop effect works
Customers have supported the store’s growing pains and owners’ efforts to deliver more and better for years. This support not only puts Metro Wines on the map, paving the way for new customers and advertising, but also provides the financial capacity to contribute to nonprofit groups in the region.

That is to say one for all and all for one!

“It’s a celebration,” says Gina Trippi, co-owner of MetroWines. “A celebration of the discreet but continued support of our customers, our voice in Wine lover in October, and Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville’s work to shelter and house the voiceless.

Metro Wines is located at 169 Charlotte Street in Asheville. For more information, visit For more information on Mountain Pet Rescue, visit
