Pet Supplies Plus Donates $ 1,000 to Marshfield Area Animal Shelter


$ 250 also donated to Marshfield K-9 and the Clark County Humane Society

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Pet Supplies Plus hosted a successful grand opening ceremony, which included a donation to three local animal related nonprofits.

Visitors to the celebration voted for their choice of Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS), Clark County Humane Society (CCHS) and the Marshfield Police Department’s K9 Unit to receive a grand prize of $ 1,000. MAPS won the first prize with 314 votes. MPS and CCHS both received $ 250 for second and third places.

“Pet Supplies Plus is hometown focused, down to earth, knowledgeable and caring. We really care about the community and their pets, ”said Kim Crawford, store team manager. “We look forward to partnering with the humanitarian society, dog parks and other animal welfare groups at the local level. We are working with local shelters to also have adoptable animals in store. We are delighted to be here!
