Meet Klaus and Mateo

Retriever, yellow Labrador/mix

Mateo is eight years old and comes from a very hard life on the streets of Mexico. Despite the visible scars of her past, no soul has ever been sweeter. He’s calm and sweet, definitely one stop and smells like the roses kind of guy. He loves two people, other dogs, being close to his family, and belly rubbing. Mateo is a dream on a leash, he knows how to ‘sit’ and ‘wait’, is clean and will make a loyal and trustworthy companion.

Domestic Shorthair

Klaus is a sweet one-year-old boy, first given to someone as a “gift” as a kitten, only to be abandoned six months later. Despite this sad transition, he is such a nice boy. He’s quite vocal, especially when it’s dinner time, but he knows how to relax and ask for belly rubs. He loves humans of all ages and can’t resist eating string, scrunchies and hair ties and should really stick to hard plastic toys. Klaus isn’t very fazed by busy environments and seems to get along with the other rescue cats.
