Seats donates to Laredo Animal Rescue Organization

Seats, Inc. Warehouse Manager Jim Heuer this week presented a check for $1,000 to Pets Alive Laredo (PAL) Representative Mary Bender on behalf of the WR & Floy Family Foundation. A. Sauey.

PAL is a Laredo-based nonprofit that gives homeless dogs and cats a second chance at life.

The funds will be used to help homeless dogs and cats receive necessary vaccines, medications, surgeries and other veterinary services.

For more information on PAL’s mission or to donate, please visit facebook.com/petsalivelaredo or petsalivelaredo.org.

The Foundation making the donation is the charitable arm of the Nordic Group of Companies, which includes Seats, Inc., a manufacturer of seats for vehicles and riding equipment, and Flambeau, Inc., a manufacturer of plastics. The two companies share an 80,000 square foot warehouse in Laredo, where an expansion of the existing facility is being planned. The warehouse receives and stores inventory and raw materials, which are also distributed to other Seats and Flambeau facilities or their customers.

The Foundation regularly makes donations to worthy charities such as PAL wherever the Nordic Group companies operate.
