The dogs currently waiting for a forever home at South Hills Pet Rescue woke up to a special surprise on Christmas morning. Supporters of the shelter provided stockings filled with treats, toys and blankets. Cheryl McClaran, of South Hills Pet Rescue, said it has become an annual tradition to provide socks for dogs. âWhen they put the socks up there last night, they were so excited,â McClaran said. “They were sniffing their stockings to see what was in them.”
