UK rock themed charity event in aid of local pet rescue organizations

The event will feature a comedic performance by “Seinfeld” actor John O’ Hurley and live music.

British Rock Nites, a charity event in aid of local animal rescue organizations God’s Dogs Rescue and the Animal Defense League, will take place at La Cantera Resort Ballroom (16641 La Cantera Pkwy, 78256) on Friday August 20 at 7:00 p.m.

Hosted by Thomas J. Henry, this one-night-only event will feature a special comedy performance by actor, singer and TV personality John O’ Hurley, who is best known for his role as ‘J. Peterman’ in the hit NBC sitcom, “Seinfeld.” O’Hurley is now the host of the “National Dog Show” televised annually on Thanksgiving Day on NBC. He also hosted the hit game show ‘Family Feud’ for 5 years.

Live musical entertainment will be provided by ‘Sixtiesmania’, a British sixties and seventies revival rock band from Las Vegas playing hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who.

John O’Hurley is an American actor, comedian, author, game show host and television personality. He is best known for his role as ‘J. Peterman’ on the NBC sitcom “Seinfeld,” and was the fifth host of the popular game show “Family Feud.”
